Faroe Islands

The Faroe Islands are perhaps the most beautiful and mysterious place that I have ever visited. Despite their relatively small land area, a full week of exploration served as little more than a cursory taste of what there is to see here and left me desperate for more. I literally dream of laying in bed in Saksun, listening to wind and snow howl and shake the cabin, ready to grab my camera and run out the door to the black sand beach that is only accessible at low tide.

This gallery is a work in progress. The photographs here are not as tightly curated as other sections of my website, though I will be paring it down gradually over time as I gather my thoughts about my experience in this place.
